Liverpool got off to a forgettable start during their EFL Cup semi-final first leg against Southampton, with a mistake from Ragnar Klavan letting in Nathan Redmond for the opening goal just 20 minutes in.
The Estonian has been a welcome addition since arriving from Augsburg over the summer, with the Reds winning 7 of the 10 Premier League games in which he has featured.
It makes a change from recent seasons, when Martin Škrtel was often an accident waiting to happen in the back four.
However, today marked the ninth anniversary of Škrtel signing for the reds, so a blunder from one of the centre-backs almost felt like a tribute.

Klavan was always opening himself up to Škrtel comparisons among unimaginative football fans, as both are from Eastern Europe and both have a reputation as no-nonsense defenders.
But finding himself guilty of such an error on a day with some relevance to the Slovakia international was only going to end one way for the 31-year-old.
