"Can you see us now?! #55titles," the banner read.
Rangers' win over St Mirren all but extinguished any faint flicker of hope that Celtic might miraculously complete a 10th consecutive league title, ahead of the Old Firm, which takes place at Celtic Park on March 21.
As it turned out, the game at Tannadice ended in a goalless draw. They are now 20 points behind with only six games to play.
"Congratulations to Rangers," said former Celtic and Ireland goalkeeper Packie Bonner on BBC Scotland, "but from a Celtic perspective, they've been absolutely dreadful. They played well today but haven't put up a title challenge in any shape or form."
