Their careers at Ibrox look to be over.
Rangers will suspend Kenny Miller and captain Lee Wallace after the pair were involved in a furious exchange with manager Graeme Murty following the club's Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic.
The Hoops put Rangers to the sword at Hampden Park on Sunday, with goals from Tom Rogic, Callum McGregor, Moussa Dembele and Oliver Ntcham giving Brendan Rodgers' side a comprehensive victory over their rivals.
Rangers were played off the pitch, with hopes of a first major trophy since 2011 dashed, and it appears that frustrations spilled over into the dressing room following the game when Miller and Wallace expressed their feelings towards Murty.
Veteran striker Miller was an unused substitute in the game while Wallace wasn't playing due to injury, with the latter joining his teammates in the dressing room after the game to deliver his own assessment of what he had witnessed from the Hampden Park stands.
According to the
Scottish Sun, the pair have more than likely played their last games for the club.
Miller's contract is set to expire at the end of the season but Rangers are expected to terminate the deal with immediate effect. Wallace has a year left and is set to be suspended pending an internal investigation.

The pair will learn their fates in a meeting on Tuesday morning.
The news comes less than 24 hours after the
Daily Record revealed that Rangers pair Greg Docherty and Alfredo Morelos were involved in a tunnel bust-up following the final whistle.
Murty hinted that there were plenty of intense emotions in the dressing room during his post-match press conference.
"There should be disappointment and frustration and anger there," Murty said. "It is about making sure they turn that into positives and energy to power us through to the end of the season, rather than allowing it to be disruptive.
"The players need to respond for themselves. It isn't just Celtic we have got to play. There are big games ahead of us and we need to make sure we get a response between now and the end of the season, if we want to finish as we should."
