Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a record fee of £80 million for a defender after meeting Leicester City's evaluation for centre-back Harry Maguire.
The England defender has been linked with a move to United for over a year now and it looks like a stint in Manchester could be on the horizon with multiple reports indicating a deal has been reached between the two clubs.

If Maguire signs he would follow both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James to the club.
James and Wan-Bissaka made their club debuts against Perth Glory last week while the addition of Maguire would seriously beef up United's defence.
Maguire has long been linked with a move to United and he was caught last month liking a post on Instagram from a fan saying he would be a ‘fan favourite’ at United.
His social media activity led to wild speculation he was joining the club, however, Maguire admitted it was an accident.

Premier League champions Manchester City were also understood to be interested in Maguire but that was before they spent a club record £68.2m on Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri.
