Liverpool fans go get some new pants.
Jurgen Klopp is no miracle worker, but that may need to be revised if this report from The Independent newspaper proves any way accurate.
Their Wednesday morning back page screams of a possible deal for Steven Gerrard to return to Liverpool under the German, and not just for a much anticipated coaching role.
The former Liverpool captain admitted earlier this week that he may hang up his boots in 2016, but according to the newspaper, Klopp is hoping Gerrard may wear the famous red jersey again on the pitch

The report states that Klopp has spoken to Gerrard several times on the telephone since taking over at Liverpool last month, and that the German wants the club's iconic midfielder to set the professional standards expected of players at the club.
The report goes on to state that Klopp is keen for Gerrard to come to the club to train until January 15th before his return to the MLS, and that there may be the possibility that the club could offer him a playing deal if he wants it.
However any deal will involve a transfer fee as he is in the middle of a three year deal with LA Galaxy, which may put any possible return in doubt.
Naturally Liverpool fans are very very excited by the report.
