The 25-year-old's move from Norwich has been on the cards for weeks, but appeared to be held-up as the club looked to secure a replacement.
On Tuesday afternoon, Sky Sports reported that Norwich's £7m deal for Wigan winger Yanic Wildschut was on the verge of been completed.
This opens-up the path for Brady to join Burnley.

Brady, who was a youth team player with Manchester United, joined Norwich from Hull City in 2015 for £7m.
The winger, who is comfortable at left-back, was linked with moves to several Premier League clubs, including Leicester City, Bournemouth and Sunderland.
David Moyes, the Black Cats' manager, admitted that his club made an approach for Brady, but was turned down by the player.
"We tried for the boy at Norwich (Brady) and he said 'no'. There were others as well, but people have said 'no'."If, as expected, Brady's transfer from Burnley is completed on deadline day, he will become the club's most expensive player. The deal will eclipse the £10.5m Burnley paid Derby County for Hendrick last summer.
