But according to Roberto, his brother and agent, Ronaldinho has no plans to hang up his boots just yet - and his next destination could well be England.
"I have had more than one call from England," he is quoted as saying by The Sun. "My brother is a competitor. He loves to win. That is what people do not realise about him."
"He still wants to play. He has never had serious injuries; his body is in perfect condition.
"I think he has three or four years left to him, maybe more."
It's unlikely that a 35-year-old Ronaldinho will suit the pace of the Premier League, but given his recent performance at David Beckham's UNICEF match, he clearly hasn't lost the ability to entertain.Explore more on these topics:
