It appears Ross Barkley is about to join Chelsea.
According to several reports, the Everton midfielder is having a medical with the Premier League champions ahead of a £15m move from Everton. Barkley has yet to play this season, as he recovers from a hamstring injury, and earlier this year he rejected a new contract to stay at Goodison Park.
He also turned down a move to Chelsea on the final day of the summer transfer window, but talks between the two clubs resumed at the start of this month.

Barkley was out of contract at the end of the season, and could have left Everton on a free transfer.
Chelsea are going to pay £15m to secure the 24-year-old this month. What was once a world record transfer fee, when Alan Shearer cost Newcastle United £15m from Blackburn Rovers in 1996, is now a "cut-price" fee for a midfielder available for free in a few months, and who will undoubtedly become a squad player at Stamford Bridge.
Barkley is an Everton academy graduate. He played 179 times for the club and scored 27 goals.
