Roy Keane has answered the raging speculation linking him with the Celtic job

Celtic are looking for a new manager, and all eyes are turning to a certain Corkman who has close ties to the club.

The Bhoys confirmed this morning that Ronny Delia will be leaving Parkhead at the end of this season, after two years in charge of the Scottish Premier League leaders. The Norwegian has been a mixed success at the club, with the Hoops on course to win yet another league title under his watch, but shamefully early exits in Europe, combined with some terrible displays, have sealed his fate. There is no word yet on the future of Jim McGuinness in his role with the first team, but at least one Irishman has pretty much ruled himself out of taking up the role this summer. Roy Keane is an ex-Celtic player of course; the club offering him a playing lifeline after his exit from Old Trafford over ten years ago. The Corkman is out of contract at present with Ireland after the end of the European Championships, and fans today have put 2+2 together. Unfortunately, Keane's math skill is a bit sharper than all of ours, and when asked at a special event in Cork this morning, it seems very much as the Celtic job is low on his list of priorities.
