Ryan Giggs to make punditry debut on Poland v Portugal game

Ryan Giggs is set to make his punditry debut.

The Manchester United legend will be a guest on ITV's coverage of the Euro 2016 quarter-final between Poland and Portugal on Thursday. Giggs is expected to depart Old Trafford this summer after being reportedly offered a reduced coaching role by Jose Mourinho. The 43-year-old was Louis van Gaal's assistant, and briefly caretaker manager following David Moyes' departure in May 2014. However, reports suggest he'll be only offered a role with the youth team under United's new manager, and he intends to leave Old Trafford to begin his own management career. Giggs will be joined by Lee Dixon and Ian Wright on ITV's coverage of the game. If he decides to become a football pundit full-time, hopefully Giggs takes tips from Gary Neville and not his other former United teammate, Paul Scholes.
