As you can see, his teammates look fairly cosy in official club coats but the 55-time Scotland international looks happy enough in his short sleeves, completely unmoved by the sub-zero temperatures in Russia.
We're sure a few of the Celtic boys will have the gloves out during Thursday's game, but don't expect their captain to be one of them.
Of course, it's not the first time he's given new meaning to braving the elements. Here he is below in training, being put through his paces in short sleeves and shorts as his teammates look on, wrapped up in their warmest winter gear.
