Lowry has tweeted since Europe's Ryder Cup captain Clarke made his decision on Tuesday afternoon.
The Offaly golfer expressed his disappointment, but admitted that he can't dispute his compatriot's decision, and that he was looking forward to cheering-on the European team as they seek to retain the competition.
