Flash forward three years to 2017, where Reid is now working with Reading as a first team coach. This summer shall henceforth be referred to as the one where Steven Reid finally acquired a new haircut.
It's different, it's bold, it's (insert appropriate synonym here), but most of all, it's a Mohican or 'mohawk' as the kids presumably no longer call it nowadays.

His former Blackburn Rovers teammate, David Dunn, who's now coaching at Oldham got a good giggle out of Reid's mohawk.
