Swansea City have parted ways with manager Garry Monk after less than two years.
The former club captain had led the club to a top-half finish last season, but a poor run of results prompted the board to let him go.
Brendan Rodgers is favourite to replace Monk, but whether the former Swans boss wants to return is a different matter.

"The decision has been made very reluctantly and with a heavy heart," chairman Huw Jenkins said.
“It was not a decision we took lightly, especially given Garry’s history and standing within the club," added Jenkins, noting that the club hopes to replace the 36-year-old "as soon as possible".
Swansea have won just once since the end of August, a 2-1 win at bottom club Aston Villa, and currently sit one point above the relegation zone.
