The should Raheem Sterling stay or should he go question has been raging on Liverpool for weeks ever since the winger placed talks over a new contract on hold.
Liverpool are adamant that the player is going nowhere this summer and Sterling has never mentioned that he might leave - merely that he won't be signing a new deal at this moment in time.
Thousands and thousands of words have been written and spoken about what might happen next but none provided as much concrete evidence as the latest nugget to emerge from this saga.
