Klopp's modus operandi throughout his managerial career has been to instil an exhaustive sense of energy, pressure and closing down opponents.
Rodgers' style, meanwhile, has been based much more on an aesthetically pleasing playing style, a desire to perform beautifully rather than force errors from the opposition.
And after Ibe's €18 million move to Bournemouth last week, he made no secret about which philosophy he prefers.
"Bournemouth is a good club," Ibe said, via The Mirror.
"They play the same football as Brendan Rodgers used to play so I like the style of play and the philosophy the manager has got.
"It is a great opportunity for me to take another step in my career and develop as a player."
