Fans watching the Premier League clash couldn't help but notice that the referee of the game, Andre Marriner, and his assistants were sporting a colour scheme that was strikingly similar to the Crystal Palace home strip.
The officials' purple get-up was quite close to the red and blue combination that we're used to seeing Palace wear which begs the question 'Why didn't they just wear black?'
