Norwegian journalist Espen Bråthen has described as 'one of the ugliest I've seen on the football field'.
After losing the ball, the player jumped into a two-footed challenge which left opponent Marius Kolstad writhing in agony and sparked a brawl between players of the rival clubs.
Kolstad is thought to have suffered a serious knee injury as a result of the challenge, and Blomberg is expected to receive a lengthy ban for his actions.
