The Telegraph state that Boehly and his partners were left concerned by the 49-year-old's behaviour away from the limelight and ultimately decided that Tuchel was not the man to lead Chelsea into their new era.
Boehly and his co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali had initially planned to keep Tuchel for the long haul but the handling of transfers in particular caused tensions amongst the parties.
As a manager who usually likes to operate on his own, Tuchel was met with several obstacles. A WhatsApp group was set up to improve communications and transfer targets between them both.
The signing of Cristiano Ronaldo caused a huge difference in opinion. Boehly was extremely keen on signing the 37-year-old but Tuchel had other ideas.
Players also looked to have been losing faith in the manager. A series of lacklustre displays also haven't helped his cause either, with the atmosphere at the training ground described as tense and a number of players feeling like they had been poorly treated.
Chelsea are wasting no time in trying to find a new appointment and are reportedly set to make an approach for Graham Potter, who is their number one candidate, with Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane also linked with the role.
