We need Match of the Day to cover the final day of this season
Remember when we told you about
the wide open Algerian league, where each club could still win the title with just four games remaining?
Well, we thought we should check back in and see how things were going, and although one club may have stolen a march in the title race, this crazy division is shaping up for the most thrilling relegation battle ever.
With two games left, there are 12 teams still at risk of the drop (we hoped it was 15, but further analysis of the fixture list shows those on 41 points weren't safe).
Fair play ES Sétif, who look likely to win the title despite only winning four more games than bottom side USM Bel Abbes, but everyone from fifth place down is still not safe from the drop.
And, based on this weekend's uninspiring set of results, it looks like the tension is already too much to bear.
