"Of course [it is a setback] because our aim the first year, also the second year and also the third year shall be the Champions League, a higher level," Louis had originally spoken about the disappointment of failing to qualify for Europe's elite competition.
"A club like Manchester United has to play at a higher level. But there are more clubs who want to play in the Champions League as we have seen."
The manager delivered his end-of-season address to Old Trafford after the Bournemouth game but it wasn't received well by everyone.
