Five wins and three draws in their last 10 games saw the south of France outfit climb to Ligue 1 safety with a miraculous revival but they still travelled to Angers on the last day needing a win to secure their top flight status.
So manager Pascal Dupraz delivered an inspirational team talk on the eve of the game to stir his boys. He capped it off with a video. Messages of support, of love, from fans and family.
It left tears in the room. It left the Toulouse players with no doubt what they were going out to play for.
