He had to be led away by ground staff and appeared to have a mark under his left eye.

Speaking to BBC West Midlands Sport afterwards, he said: "There was some people at the front pretty angry - understandably because we've not played well and we've not got the result we wanted.
"But there's absolutely no excuse for that and there's no place for it in football.
"I've been here a long time and we get our fair share of stick, but to be hit with coins by your own fans is absolutely disgusting.
"If the guy who's threw it, he knows where I am all week, if he wants to come and have a word about it, it's not a problem.
"I've been here a long time and I've loved my time at the club but I think this is the first time I've been ashamed of our supporters. A small minority has ruined it for everyone."
