A Yaya Toure penalty made it 2-0 before David Silva added a third before half-time with a typically classy finish.
In fact it was all so easy for City that even James Milner was busting out his best moves.

Elsewhere, 'Aarry Kane kept up his remarkable scoring record for someone who doesn't actually appear to be that good at football by giving Spurs the lead at Leicester.
Leonardo Ulloa equalised from the penalty spot but Christian Eriksen gave Spurs another 2-1 away win as his free kick somehow crept in at the near post.
