It's been a pretty dismal season for the Hammers and David Moyes.
You wouldn't blame any West Ham fan for looking ahead to next season and rebuilding the squad. So they might be happy to hear that there are reportedly some big names already on their summer wish-list.
According to
Football Insider, the London club are looking to plunder Manchester United for some of their out-of-favour players which could really bulk up their squad. Reportedly in their sights are Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire.
David Moyes is said to be a big admirer of all three of the players, who are currently struggling under Eric ten Hag's reign and West Ham could be a decent destination for all of them if they were to stay in the Premier League. Sitting 16th, the Hammers are only a point of the relegation places and face a difficult set of remaining fixtures this season.
If all goes to plan and they do stay up, the only stumbling block for their planned signings might be the wages of the United players. But a wage cut may not be the worst thing to exchange for first team football.

Maguire's tenure at United is definitely coming to close and a fresh start elsewhere probably suits all parties involved. The big man could definitely become an important figure at another club. McTominay has seen his minutes limited too after
Casemiro's arrival from Real Madrid in January demoted the Scottish international to the bench.
Martial has revived his career under ten Hag but the Frenchman still struggles with injury woes and his inability to remain consistently fit seems to hamper his chances of becoming a mainstay in this new-look United.
West Ham woes.
Brighton heaped more misery on David Moyes as they thumped the East Londoners in a 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. The heavy loss piles even more pressure on Moyes and the board will have to consider whether his time is up or if he'll be given a chance to turn their season around.
The former United manager was hired for a second stint in 2019, guiding West Ham to a record Premier League points total finishing in sixth place last season.
