Wexford Punter beats the bookies with the shrewdest accumulator of the weekend

Any day you bash the bookies is a good day. Any day you land a 46/1 accumulator is an even better one. It's not even about the profit, it's about the pride, the sense of accomplishment, knowing that your expert views and predictions on the day's games were spot on. Brian Carty had one of those days on Sunday. Carty sent us in a a screen-grab of his successful nine team accumulator, across the soccer and the GAA over the weekend. Just like all accumulators, Carty's was an emotional roller-coaster. Unlike the majority of them, he survived the close shaves that normally leave us all reeling.

We all know the story only too well. Carty wasn't to be deterred over the weekend. He made a few great calls on his way to pulling off a smashing coo over the bookies. Calls like Bournemouth and Watford to draw, even though he was made sweat by the Cherries who were saved by a last minute Jermaine Defoe leveller. That kept him alive.

Alexis Sanchez's second goal in United's triumph over Swansea kept him alive, where he had Mourinho's men to win and score more than 1.5 goals.
