A meek affair ended the long wait.
76 days we were left to wait without Premier League football and, when it finally came back around, United and Spurs gave us a reminder that you only love what you don't have.
Louis van Gaal's side played out a 1-0 victory in the opening game of the new season but, apart from the first 21 minutes where Spurs were on top and United scored - of course - there was little else to report from Old Trafford.
So much so that the match day ball commanded most of the attention.
We were all looking on a little dumbfounded trying to figure out if we were trying to remember something or not.

Now I remember it.
