Ibrahimovic will reportedly move to Los Angeles this summer and continue his rehabilitation before joining up with the club, which previously boasted the likes of David Beckham and Robbie Keane, early next year.
Suggestions had been made that the player would not entertain options outside of Europe, with his agent Mino Raiola insisting that approaches from China and the United States of America would come to nothing.
“He will play for one more year, maybe two," Raiola said last year, via Manchester Evening News.
“There have been offers from clubs from many leagues, but he will remain in Europe 100 per cent.”
