Tempers boiled over in the tunnel
Galway were the much happier side going in at half-time 2-06 to 0-6 in the Connacht final, with Shane Walsh running the show from the forward line.
When the whistle went at the end of the first half however, tempers began to flair and a ruckus broke out between the players on their journey down the tunnel.
Aidan O'Shea looked to be in the middle of it, with some pushing and shoving that quickly progressed into collar-grabbing and before long, the two squads were going hammer and tongs at each other.

Eventually, members of the coaching teams managed to separate the players, but it definitely seemed to fire Mayo up as they burst into the second half with fierce aggression, that resulted in them earning a penalty within the first two minutes.
This isn't the first time Mayo have been involved with a half-time tunnel fight. In fact, the last time they played at Croke Park was against Dublin in the All-Ireland final in 2020, where a similar row broke out.
That time Philly McMahon was in the middle of it, but Aidan O'Shea is the common denominator between the two incidents, not afraid to make his presence known when things get hairy.
