An All-Ireland senior championship hasn't returned to Wexford Park since 1996 and it is 12 years since the county's last Leinster success too.

UPDATE: On Friday evening, Wexford GAA have confirmed FitzGerald's appointment as senior manager on a three-year term with a review to take place after the first two years.
