Longford are resorting to ruff tactics against the Rebels.
There was a strange, but welcome sight at the All-Ireland Football Championship Qualifier Round 3B clash between Longford and Cork at Pearse Park on Saturday.
While there wasn't much of a change-up in either side's starting XVs since their last outings, there was a very distinct new face on the Longford bench.
The giant-slaying underdogs of the qualifiers brought a suitable mascot to get every pumped up for the big match on their home turf - man's best friend.
Teddy the Dog was pitchside for the Leinster men, seen wearing a full Longford kit, to help inspire the troops on the field.

It certainly helped in the opening 35 as Longford led 1-4 to 0-3 points.
