Michael Murphy and Tommy Walsh lead star-studded GAA GO punditry team for 2023 championship

GAA GO will broadcast 38 exclusive Championship games in 2023 with the online streaming platform boasting a star-studded team of pundits across both codes.

Former Sky Sports GAA presenter Gráinne McElwain will host GAA GO's coverage, with the Monaghan anchor being joined by Michael Murphy, Marc Ó Sé and Paddy Andrews for their football coverage. For the hurling, they have made a great coup in Kilkenny's nine-time All-Ireland winner Tommy Walsh, who is one of the most popular pundits in the business, and he's accompanied by Limerick's Seamus Hickey and Cork's Eoin Cadogan. More pundits are expected to be added to the line-up in the coming weeks and months. GAA GO has been a staple for Irish abroad with its coverage of GAA games over the last eight years, but this new schedule should see them taking a sizeable chunk of the Irish market as well. GAA GO will have 22 Sam Maguire Cup games, nine Liam Mac Carthy games as well as seven Tailteann Cup clashes with a range of subscription deals on offer. They will have games from every provincial championship, in football and hurling. The games will be available in HD quality with the full broadcast treatment for at least 25 of these games. The pricing begins from a special launch price of just €59 up until December 31st, before it moves to €79 for a yearly subscription. Individual pay-per-game matches are available at €12, or in a ‘3-for-2’ bundle deal that will cost €24. Members of GAA clubs will receive 10% off any full price (€79) subscription, while GAA clubs will be able to avail of a group pass for €150. However, this new and exclusive domestic Championship schedule is a major advance, not just for the Association, but also for the viewers of our games.
