This was McMenamin's firsts tint in charge of an inter-county team, having enjoyed a hugely successful playing career with his native Tyrone. The former Red Hands player was a notorious man-marker, famous for getting inside of his opponents heads, and not shy about leaving in a hard tackle or two. Before retiring, he accumulated three All-Irelands with his home county, and is widely regarded as one of the best cover-backs of the modern era.“Fermanagh County Committee would like to thank Ryan and his entire backroom team for all their hard work and commitment over the last two years,” said a Fermanagh statement.
