The Premier County's clash with Cork was dubbed as the tie-of-the-round in Munster, as the province's two unbeaten teams went head-to-head.
But Brendan Cummins' side had far too much for their opponents, with a Senan Butler hat-trick inspiring them to an eleven point win on a final score-line of 3-20 to 0-18.
The home victory ensures that Tipperary remain at the top of the table heading into the final round of games, and they are now highly likely to take the direct route to the Munster final. It's into the knock-out stages in Leinster, with the province's two quarter finals taking place this Wednesday night. Offaly will host Laois in O'Connor Park as Wexford travel to Donnycarney, to take on Dublin in Parnell Park.
On Friday, the group stages of the Munster championship will come to a close with the final round of games taking place.
