We may have seen the save of the year in the GAA after Aaron Browne’s heroics on Sunday.
The Cashel King Cormacs goalkeeper was at full stretch to produce this ridiculous stop from Jake Morris of Nenagh Eire Og.
“That will make the socials all day long,” the commentator roared after the save. “You could almost feel the net rattling, but Browne says no.”
The save, coming late in the match, helped King Cormacs to a 0-21 to 2-13 victory in Group 2 of the Tipperary SHC.
However, some are suggesting it might not have even been the save of the day.
In the replies to Clubber’s posts, several are pointing to Brendan Quinn’s low dive in Roscommon Gael’s match with Truman GAA.
We’re yet to find the footage of Quinn’s save, so until we do, we’ll reserve judgement!
