Opening race of the day postponed until later in afternoon
One of the highlights of the Christmas racing festivals is definitely going ahead after Leopardstown passed an inspection this morning.
The eagerly awaited rematch of Jezki and Hurricane Fly is the climax of the four days at the track in the Ryanair Hurdle.
An 8am inspection has seen the green light given for the race but officials also warned that there could be some changes later in the afternoon and that's exactly what has now happened:

The feature is still set to go to post at 1.25 with the horses clashing for the sixth time.
Hurricane Fly currently just edges the rivalry three wins to two
The going on the hurdles track is soft, with the chase course described as soft to heavy.
Racing at Limerick is also going ahead today.
The Grade Three Cliona's Foundation Novice Hurdle is the feature race at 2.50 with action underway at 12.35
