Two-time Grand National winner Leighton Aspell suffered serious injuries after an accident during Storm Darragh.
Last Saturday, a falling tree smashed into his car, leaving the Irishman with a broken arm and internal bleeding. While there were other nasty injuries, it was a lucky escape, and he is now recovering at home.
His former boss Oliver Sherwood said: "Thankfully, he is back home now and doing fine.
"He has a broken arm and some internal bleeding but it could have been much worse."
The 48-year-old retired in 2007, before coming back to sport two years later and winning the Grand National in 2014 on Pineau de Re, and again in 2015 on Many Clouds.
His other wins include two Welsh Grand Nationals, the Champion Four-Year-Old Hurdle, and the Coral Gold Cup.
