It's the most foolproof piece of advice any horse racing punter could ever be given. The problem with that nowadays, is that the Clonsutton saddler's dominance has gone so far now that he's now often competing against himself in these big races.
On Wednesday in Punchestown, Willie Mullins enjoyed the day of days as he landed six of the seven races on day two of the Kildare festival.
Matthew Smith's Prince Garyantle took the spoils in the first but from then on it was all one way traffic with Mullins' trained charges the first to pass the post in every other race.
With a host of second and third place finishes to his name on the card also, Mullins totted up more than €500,625 in prize money which would see him overtake Gordon Elliott in their titanic tussle for the National Hunt Champion trainer's crown.

That means Mullins will take a €48,160 lead into day three of the festival. He began the day's action trailing Elliott by €405,839 but his troop were on top form on Tuesday.
Pravalaguna got the ball rolling in the second race of the day under the inspired Paul Townend,
who more than made up for his Monday mishap.
This was followed up by Grade One glory for Next Destination and Bellshill, who won the Punchestown Gold Cup after a serious steer from the talented David Mullins.
7/4 favourite Coolreevy would wrap up a solid day's work for the yard in the bumper. Had you each of those winners in an accumulator, you would have won yourself €9803 from €1.

The battle for the trainer's title is not over yet, with Elliott having plenty of firepower to strike back at Mullins over the next few days, with his battalion led by Samcro in Friday's Champion Hurdle.
