Cathal Pendred also added to Conor McGregor’s Boston card in January

Hot on the heels of the news yesterday that Paddy Holohan would be fighting in the UFC event in Boston on January 18, another Irish UFC man has been added to the bill today. This morning the UFC announced that Cathal Pendred will fight Sean Spencer at UFC Fight NIght 59.

Spencer is an American fighter with an impressive record of 12-3 in the octagon. He is 3-2 in the UFC, and he won his last fight, by decision, against Paulo Thiago back in Spetember on the undercard of Bigfoot/Arlovski 2. Pendred's last outing was, of course, his win against Gasan Umalatov inSweden last month. We already know lots of you were planning to save up all your Christmas money to head to Boston for the show and with the chance to see Conor McGregor, Holohan and Pendred on one bill, it just got even more appealing.
