Conor McGregor apologises for his role in bus attack, due back in court on July 26

The matter rumbles on into late July.

Conor McGregor's legal and UFC future remains up in the air following his brief appearance at the Brooklyn Criminal Court on Thursday morning (local time). The Dubliner appeared in court following on from charges laid down in relation to the attack on a bus carrying UFC fighters and employees at the Barclays Center loading bay, in April. McGregor made a brief statement to the media members waiting outside soon after his 60-second appearance in the court. He commented:

"I regret my actions that led to today. I understand the seriousness of this matter and I am hopeful that this will get worked out."

With that in mind, both men will appear back in the same court on July 26 and will make an actual plea before the court.
