Despite losing in Saturday night's main event, McGregor has actually escaped any medical suspensions while Nate Diaz, who won via second round rear naked choke, has been suspended until late April.
Ironically, Diaz's suspension will be served until 20 April which has become a day synonymous with the cannabis culture in the United States (both Diaz brothers are known marijuana users).
