This is a move from the UFC that Dana White can appreciate.
The promotion's president has persistently poured cold water on any suggestions that Conor McGregor will make the move from MMA to the boxing ring, after it emerged that McGregor has been granted a boxing licence for the state of California.
However, White has given McGregor's move to small screen his full backing, judging by this interview.
Rumours spread recently that the Irish fighter, currently on a 10-month break from MMA after winning the UFC lightweight title last month in New York, will make an appearance in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.
White all but confirmed the story in a recent interview.
"I did hear that. I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show and, I'm glad he did it," White said on Fox Sports.
"It'll be great. The show’s huge. It's awesome and I'm excited for him."
