Georges St Pierre admits ongoing concern over drug testing within UFC

Georges St Pierre still hasn't come out of retirement, but the legendary UFC man admits that he could still be temped back into the octagon. A return for the legendary Canadian fighter has long been talked about, but as of right now we're still waiting to see if the 34-year-old will ever take the walk to the biggest MMA arena of all. The former champion has been speaking to the MMA hour tonight and the discussion once again came around to the difficult subject of PED use in MMA. The ex-welterweight still feels there are major concerns over the ongoing use of PEDS and testing of fighters ,and admits that previously he spoke to Dana White about drug use in MMA, but is happy to see that some things have changed,

"I know if you promote a fight and spend a million dollar and a guy tests positive, it's a lot of money. So it's not in their best interests to make the tests the best possible." "When USADA got involved it means it is better than it was. Is it the best they can do? I'm not sure about that. " "These things need to be public, who they test who tests positive and what they test. It will never be perfect but it is still better."

GSP also said that the Reebok deal could be a major stumbling block to any possible return to the octagon. The former UFC fighter told Ariel Helwani that the deal with the sports giant would cause him pause for concern about rejoining the UFC.

"I don't know the Reebok deal but my contract is different to other people's contract. It may stop UFC from inviting me back. This is not my fight, this is my management's fight."
