Ice Cube could still stand in the way of Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena

Conor McGregor is expected to make his boxing debut opposite Floyd Mayweather on August 26 at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.

There is a little problem with that, however. The 3-on-3 basketball league set up by rapper Ice Cube, Big 3, currently has that date booked for that particular arena. TMZ quotes sources who claim that discussions are underway between Mayweather Promotions and Ice Cube in the hope that the latter will move his event to the nearby MGM Grand Garden Arena. Realistically, there is just too much money associated with McGregor vs. Mayweather for the boxer's team to allow a basketball league to force the fight card to a smaller venue.
