Jose Aldo responds to claims that he’ll retire after Conor McGregor fight regardless of the outcome

Many believe that UFC 194 will be the last time we see Jose Aldo make the walk to the octagon.

The long-time featherweight champion has beaten all challengers relatively handily and the MMA world would have considered a victory over Conor McGregor to be the final puzzle-piece in his legacy. A defeat, however, would suggest that Aldo had met his match and his best days were behind him. Either way, retirement wouldn't have shocked the MMA world after the final bell on Saturday night. But the Brazilian has rubbished that suggestion, explaining that he still had unfinished business left in the UFC. "This will not be my last fight, Aldo told UFC.com. "I think I still have other opponents to face." It feels like Aldo has been around for decades but we're glad to hear that he won't be leaving his gloves in the centre of the octagon this weekend as, at 29, he still has plenty left to offer.
