Colby Covington, who came under fire for an offensive tweet aimed at Cathal Pendred, has been added to UFC 187.

Sean Spencer, who lost a
controversial decision to Cathal Pended at UFC Boston, has been replaced by Colby Covington at UFC 187.
Covington (7-0) steps in to face #12 ranked welterweight Mike Pyle (26-10-1) on the early prelims of the event after Spencer was forced to pull out of the fight with an injury.
Unbeaten Covington won both his UFC fights via submission. He forced a verbal submission from Anying Wang in his promotional debut after lighting him up with punches. Covington then finished Wagner Silva with a late rear-naked choke in his next trip to the Octagon.
Meanwhile, Pyle enters this one off the back of two losses in his last three fights, after being finished by Jordan Mein and Matt Brown in between a TKO victory over T.J. Waldburger.
Irish fans will know Covington from a controversial tweet he sent to Pendred, during his
Twitter tirade against the Dubliner following the bout with Spencer.
If both these fighters get the same result in their next fight, perhaps Covington will get his wish of facing the Punisher inside the Octagon.
