Mike Perry, eh?
Perry is one of the most divisive fighters on the UFC roster, having previously come in for criticism for his use of racially insensitive language and serving jail time for a planned burglary as a teenager.
The UFC welterweight seems to revel in controversy and he'll certainly have a few critics for the body shot with which he dropped his girlfriend in a recent sparring session.
Now, to be fair, the sparring session was very light for the most part but Perry definitely put more heat behind a punch to his partner's stomach after he heard the signal that the round was coming to an end.

Danielle Nickerson has trained with Perry before and she shook off the body shot rather quickly, giving her boyfriend a hug after seeing out the round.
The pair are back together after splitting up briefly last year.
Nickerson has never shied away from the spotlight herself and is a regular fixture in Perry's training camps, helping 'Platinum' out with meal prep and often cornering the welterweight fighter.

Perry's next fight has yet to be announced. The last we saw of the 27-year-old was his submission defeat to Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone last November.
