"I'm just disappointed in him for the fight. Like I want to feel sorry for him. I want to go 'Man I feel bad for you but what do you think you're going to get?'"I don't want to talk about...I never want to talk about..." The host gave Diaz every opportunity to skip over that subject of discussion but Diaz is notoriously unable to keep his thoughts to himself, which is an endearing quality and one that has made him one of the most popular fighters in MMA history.
Diaz claimed that he believed Conor McGregor put a lot more work into preparing for and promoting the UFC 205 headliner and suggested that Alvarez's family life and non-fighting responsibilities may have hindered his performance in the Octagon.

"And in the time leading up to the fight, I think McGregor put a lot more time and understanding into it and he was a lot more in-tune with his understanding where Eddie Alvarez thinks he's a winner and wants to believe that.
"McGregor knows why he's a winner and knows why he believes that.

"I think about 'If this guy does this, I'm going to do that.' And I can see it, I watch and I know what I'm looking at.
