Paige VanZant shears off hair for cancer charity ahead of latest UFC fight… sort of

Paige VanZant took some time out of her UFC Fight Night 80 preparations to help out a good cause.

The 21-year-old strawweight contender is preparing for her fourth bout in the promotion, on December 10, against Rose Namajunas. VanZant had vowed to put her head "on the chopping block" in order to raise money for cancer charity Cancer Train. Having raised about $37,000 (€35,000) for the charity, VanZant fulfilled her vow to get a hefty hair-cut. However, those of you looking for drastic results may be somewhat disappointed.

VanZant followed that up by taking her good deed a step further and travelling to Las Vegas to help a young UFC fan, who is battling cancer, to celebrate his birthday.
