But what might take a lot longer to recover is the bantamweights ego, which took one hell of a battering at the fists and feet of Holly Holm last night.
Rousey, who lost her first ever fight in the UFC, is likely to face a medical ban from any UFC related activity for the opening months of 2016.
And perhaps she can use that time to find out who took a scalpel to her Wikipedia page in the aftermath of last night's loss, and made some cruel edits to her information.
